People are becoming more sophisticated in how they use the internet. We are all becoming much more empowered as consumers, equipped with knowledge about how much we should pay for a car or which hotel we should stay in, using sites such as Tripadvisor . And I am seriously considering buying one of those Verizon or Sprint cards that lets you connect to the Internet just about anywhere. The blogosphere is important in today’s internet marketing world because bloggers link out much more than other webmasters. Many blogs have great rankings and high PR and traffic.
The plan for Internet Evolution is to combine newer so-called Web 2.0 features with the ?old-school? In terms of a business plan, CMP?s goal is to invest at the rate of growth. It?s Internet users gathering, chatting and leaving trails of where they?ve been. Web 2.0 is changing the world of online business, moving the act of business from the desktop into the Internet. Java is deeply entrenched in the cellphone market and there is this rise of interesting new mobile devices with more power that can make for a rich internet explerience, and which are not desktops running a browser.
Marketers (and companies) are being forced to evolve because of the speed and efficiency of the Internet as a medium. The brand is no longer owned by the company. The connection between an Internet-enabled network that can go anywhere and applications that try to combine disparate systems and data is so blatantly obvious that you’d need to disable all five of your senses to miss it. CIOs should have demanded app dev and networking get on the same page a decade ago. These are the people that have difficulty understanding the basic workings of computers or the Internet. They will use it to the best of their ability, but they can’t and won’t understand the attractiveness of having a public appearance.
By making information more machine-understandable, connected and reusable, the Semantic Web will enable software and websites to grow smarter,? Google is the leader of Web 2.0. We can measure these interactions and are even getting crafty about placing value on the level of interaction visitors have with our websites to target the desirable ones and segment out the less profitable. Add to this the ability to apply predictive analysis, based on user profiles and affinity tactics, to know what customers are likely to do – even before they do. It?s not that the Website can afford to be offline any more than an ATM network can. It?s that the software running sites like Google is distributed across so many different machines in the data center that losing one or two doesn?t make any difference.
Polansi suggests that an ideal situation would be to develop several interface and stylistic environments that are user-controlled, which would enable the user to choose the most suitable form of interacting with and exploring the knowledge. That still requires initial creation which can be complex hence shades of openness. If you’re not embarrassed of your product and are not scared to death when users start banging on it, you waited too long. Get it out there. The only features that have been put in have been to allow users to connect better with other users and to allow them to see what other users are doing.
